1 pizza crust (or make your own)

2 cans Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)

1 cup spinach

1 red onion (sliced thinly)

1 tbsp minced garlic

2 tsp olive oil

2 tsp red pepper flakes

Basil Cheese Sauce

1 cup cashews

1 cup basil

1/2 cup pine nuts

1 lemon (juiced)

1 tbsp dijon mustard

1 tbsp garlic salt

1 tbsp black pepper

olive oil & water to make creamy sauce texture.


Saute chickpeas with garlic and oil. Add red onions and cook for 3-5 minutes. Set aside. Make basil pesto cheese sauce. Spread cheese sauce over crust. Add chickpeas and onions. Top with spinach and red pepper flakes. Bake @ 400 degrees for 17-20 minutes (or follow your specific crust instructions)
